      <description>I&amp;rsquo;m an older developer who enjoys building simple, easy to maintain software. I tend to agree with the maxim &amp;ldquo;make it as simple as possible but no simpler.&amp;rdquo; I&amp;rsquo;ve also been around long enough that I&amp;rsquo;ve been bitten by issues with other people&amp;rsquo;s software. I tend to enjoy programming in the Go programming language because it generally behaves the way I expect about 95% of the time, which means I tend not to be bitten by it.</description>
